  1. Information on user behaviour may be logged. This data is used for service administration.

7. Key Marketing Techniques

  1. The operator uses Google Analytics (Google Inc., USA) for website traffic analysis. Only anonymized information is shared; no personal data is transferred. The service uses cookies on end-user devices. Users can view and edit information from cookies related to preferences collected by the Google advertising network using this tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/.
  2. The operator uses remarketing techniques to tailor advertising to user behaviour. While this may appear to be tracking, no personal data is actually transferred to advertising providers. This requires cookies to be enabled.
  3. The operator uses the Facebook Pixel. This allows Facebook (Facebook Inc., USA) to know that a registered Facebook user is using the service. This uses data for which Facebook is the controller; the operator does not share any additional personal data. The service uses cookies on end-user devices.
  4. The operator uses tools to analyse user behaviour through heatmaps and session recordings. This information is anonymized before being sent to the service provider, meaning the individual user cannot be identified. This does not record passwords or other personal data.
  5. The operator uses automated solutions, such as sending emails to users after visiting specific pages, provided they have consented to receive marketing communications.
  6. The operator may use profiling as defined in data protection regulations.

8. Information About Cookies

  1. The service uses cookies.
  2. Cookies are data, specifically text files, stored on the user's device for website use. They typically contain the website name, storage duration, and a unique identifier.
  3. The service operator places and accesses cookies on the user's device.
  4. Cookies are used for:
    1. Maintaining user sessions (after login), so users don't need to re-enter login details on each page.
    2. Achieving the goals outlined in "Key Marketing Techniques".
  5. The service uses two types of cookies: "session cookies" (temporary, stored until logout, leaving the site, or closing the browser) and "persistent cookies" (stored for a defined period or until deleted by the user).
  6. Web browsers usually allow cookies by default. Users can change these settings; browsers allow cookie deletion and automatic blocking (see browser help/documentation).
